Family / General Dentistry - Regular dental cleanings and periodic oral exams are important in the prevention of gum disease, tooth decay, and other oral disorders. In addition to brushing and flossing thoroughly everyday, it is recommended to have a professional dental cleaning done every few months. Routine cleanings removes stains and tartar, preventing gum disease and helps in maintaining an optimum oral health.

Regular dental cleanings are routinely performed by our registered dental hygienist. Any external deposits on the teeth like the tartar of stains are removed with the help of manual scalers and ultrasonic machines. These ultrasonic machines use sound waves to loosen the hard deposits without causing any harm to the tooth. The teeth are polished following a thorough cleaning to make it difficult for plaque to adhere.

Cosmetic Dentistry - The way we look affects us both personally and professionally. A white, bright, open smile increases social acceptance, makes a great impression, and boosts self-confidence. Most prosperous people know: nothing succeeds like a smile and the first impression makes all the difference. And you never get another chance to make a great first impression.

What is the first thing people notice about you? It's your smile. Your smile has a lot to say about you, giving you the power of first impression. And we'd like to help you get the self-confidence and great image that a healthy, good-looking smile can bring. Be all you can be. How can we help you to make a great impression? Our cosmetic services include cosmetic bonding, white (natural color) fillings, ceramic inlays, ceramic veneers, porcelain crowns (caps), porcelain and ceramic fixed bridges, cosmetic bleaching, and cosmetic reshaping.

Teeth Whitening - Tooth discoloration due to aging, using tea, coffee, tobacco, colas, tetracycline staining, post orthodontic treatment and others, can be effectively treated with our tooth whitening procedure. We use the Zoom! In-Office Whitening System, a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure that is ideal for anyone looking for immediate results. It's safe, effective and very fast. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter.

The Zoom! Whitening procedure is simple and painless. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. We then apply the proprietary Zoom! Whitening Gel, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You'll be amazed with the results. In most cases, teeth get even whiter the first few days after the procedure.

Veneers - Veneers are a thin, semi-translucent laminent permanently bonded to your teeth. While they're not suitable for every patient, veneers are the most aesthetic alternative for a variety of dental conditions involving the front teeth, including diastemas (spaces between teeth), broken, chipped or crooked teeth, unsightly, stained, or washed-out fillings, and permanently stained or discolored teeth that can't be bleached.

Veneers can last indefinitely, depending on how well they are taken care of by the patient. Because veneers are stronger than simple bonding, they are also more resistant to stains and chipping. You must maintain regular oral hygiene at home, and visit us for routine cleanings and exams. This is to ensure that your new veneers will look as good as new. Another important point is that oral habits that damage natural teeth such as nail biting, opening bobby pins, and chewing on hard objects can also damager your new veneers. Once veneers are applied, just treat them like natural teeth. They look great and are extremely durable.

Crowns - Crowns (or caps) are dental restorations that are placed over a tooth when conservative restorations are insufficient to restore form and function. A bridge serves to replace a missing tooth or teeth. One type of bridge consists of crowns placed on either side of the missing tooth to connect the replacement tooth attached to the adjacent teeth with wing-like appendages. Bridges can also be supported by dental implants. Crowns and bridges can be made entirely of tooth-colored material, metal, or a combination to provide optimal aesthetics. Some metal-free crowns and bridges incorporate stress-bearing materials to enhance their strength and wear-resistance.

Crowns address aesthetic needs, restore tooth function, and enhance the overall health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have large broken down fillings, a crown can protect and preserve the remaining natural tooth. To enhance your smile, a metal-free, tooth colored crown can also replace an older metal/porcelain crown. Following root canal therapy, a crown is typically placed over the remaining tooth structure to preserve aesthetic and tooth function.

Implants and Dentures - A remarkable procedure, implants can replace any or all of your teeth. The implant becomes integrated with the bone and acts like a tooth root that will ultimately support a new tooth or a group of teeth. The advantages of implants for patients with dentures are denture stability and increased patient comfort and confidence.

Implants have been a major breakthrough for denture wearers. Those people who have been unhappy with their removable prostheses may now be able to wear implant-supported dentures, or fixed bridgework. Many people believe that once they have dentures, they no longer need regular dental care. Denture wearers require regular exams to ensure their health, comfort, and appearance. Gum tissues are in a constant state of change. Periodic relining of the dentures may be necessary to ensure a tight and comfortable fit.

Bonding - Bonding involves the direct application of tooth-colored composite resin and is typically used to create a more attractive smile. Bonding can be employed to change the size or shape of your teeth, creating a smile that appears more symmetrical and space free. This single-visit procedure provides a fast solution for a more attractive smile and may eliminate the need for orthodontic treatment in some cases.

Tooth-colored fillings are an alternative to the traditional metal fillings and fall into two categories: direct and indirect. Direct restorations are composite resin applied in one appointment. Indirect restorations (inlays or onlays) are made of porcelain or composite resin materials fabricated by a dental laboratory. These restorations usually take two appointments.

Tooth stains and discolorations that resist professional tooth whitening procedures may be masked by bonding. Although bonding may not be as long lasting as porcelain veneers or crowns, it can last for a number of years with proper care.
